Dear Vendor

bazaar 3Please read below for information on our annual Winter Holiday Bazaar, which takes place this year on Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2.  Once again, entertainment will be provided by Dome School students and community members.

In past years, we have worked with vendors on a “first come, first served” basis, but we have now moved to a juried process, with a committee making decisions on vendors. This is in order to ensure as wide a variety of unique vendors as possible for the many people who visit the event.

Please note that applications (Available Here) must be received by October 1. If possible, please include a photo of your item(s) with your application. The Bazaar Committee will review these in a jury process. They will also decide any changes to booth fees. (Recent cost for the weekend has been $35 for inside and half price for outside.) You will be notified whether or not you are in, at which time booth fees will be due.

For the event, please note that all vendors agree to the following:

  • Vendors are expected to bring and provide their own change.
  • There are some tables available to borrow. Sizes are 5’, 4’, 2’. Please note on the application if you would like to request a table.
  • If you are planning or willing to share a space or split the weekend with someone, please indicate that on the application as well.
  • Vendors must park in the lower parking lot after unloading (and not in the spaces adjacent to the building), in order to provide ample parking for customers.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw vending privileges for those who do not treat this event with respect.
  • The building will be open by 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Plan to have your booth set up completely by 10 a.m., as a full room reflects a quality event.
  • Vendors must have enough items to last both days.
  • If you are unable to participate, Dome School must be notified by Monday, November 26 so we can fill your space from our waiting list
  • All vendors agree to donate a craft item for our raffle. Please fill out the application completely so we can include your item on our raffle prize list.
  • Only returning food vendors are permitted to sell ready-to-eat food. Craft vendors, please do not sell food “on the side.” Wrapped-to-take-home food will be judged individually.
  • Afterward, vendors are expected to sweep their spaces (we have brooms) and pull up any tape marking the space.
